The Angry Child and The Part You Play

An angry child is a stubborn child, no doubt about it. If you find yourself yelling, nagging, cajoling, pleading and begging for your child to listen and cooperate, then besides being warn out you have a real problem on your hands.

An argumentative child is already past the point of reasoning. Your explanations simply will not work at this point and actually there are some very good reasons for this. Number one among them is, your child doesn't care about your reasons. He wants what he wants, when he wants it. Period.

For example, if you are trying to understand how to stop back talking, you already know that more talking is not working. If it did you wouldn't be reading this article right now because you wouldn't have the problem any more. Take a minute to watch John Rosemond explain this more fully in the following video clip.

Maintenance And Care For Your Bean Bags

One of the best things about bean bag chairs is that they are easy to care for.  This does not mean though that you do not have to take extra steps to keep them looking great and comfortable to boot.  Even a car known to be durable will need maintenance repairs somewhere down the road.  The same could be said about bean bag chairs.

With the conventional chairs, cleaning could be a challenge especially if there are hard to reach areas.  Traditional chairs with intricate designs for example are hard to clean if you don't know what to use exactly to get those dusts off nooks and crannies.  Washing it with water could be a problem too depending on the furniture's finish.  With bean bag chair you simply remove the cover of the chair and wash it just like any other fabric.

Bean bag chairs are filled with polystyrene or polyurethane beads depending on where you buy it from.  Although these beads are made to retain their elasticity for a long time, there will come a time when you would need to replace these beads.  Refilling them is an easy task too, unlike repairing a wooden chair or a metal one.

What you need to do is just get your hands on bean bag chair refill which you can get from your local mall.  If you bought your beanbag furniture online, you can usually contact your dealer and ask them if they are also selling bean bag fillers.  Chances are, they do.  Once you have your fillers, just pour the content of your bean bag couch or bean bag sofa and place them in a large container.  Then just fill up the sack again with the refill you just bought. Big bean bag will obviously need more refills, mind you.

What would you do with the old beads then?  The newer beads used in these bean bag furniture can be recycled.  So, all you have to di is haul the old beads to your local recycling company and they will surely be able to help you with it.

Jazzing up a bean bag chair is also quite easy if you have the time and inclination.  You can get yourself a plain colored cloth and sew it into a cover for the bean bag chair.  Once you're done with the sewing part, you can design it with anything you fancy.  You can use textile paint to decorate it.  You can even let your kids design the thing.  After all, that would be a good bonding activity for the family.
